Amy Grimaldi, LCSW

Amy Grimaldi is a licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University with a specialization in Substance Abuse. Amy has 10 years of experience in the mental health field and received clinical training at Silver Hill Hospital, a renowned, private psychiatric hospital in New Canaan, CT. Amy held various positions while at Silver Hill Hospital and facilitated individual, family and group sessions using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Seeking Safety techniques. 

 Amy utilizes a holistic approach to provide individual and family therapy for adolescents and adults who are struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, perinatal loss, postpartum depression and transitional life stresses.

Amy practices mindfulness meditation and uses it with her clients to help evoke a sense of calm, focus and serenity during the therapeutic recovery process.
